Recently, the Shishi Fabric Association and the State Textile Products Development Center have signed a cooperation memorandum aimed at supporting the 24th (Autumn and Winter 2011/12) China Popular Fabric Finalist event. Under this agreement, the Shishi Fabric Association will be responsible for collecting, screening, and recommending entries for the competition. This collaboration is intended to further drive product innovation and development among textile enterprises in industrial clusters, promote industrial upgrading, and optimize product structures. For Shishi, it also offers an opportunity to introduce new fabric entries, ensuring that the most representative and advanced fabrics from the local industry are showcased in the assessment.
According to officials from the Shishi Fabric Association, more than 60 companies are expected to participate in the upcoming China Popular Fabric Finalist review activities. Currently, several enterprises have already registered, and over 20 more have received application forms. As a national leisure fabric base, Shishi has established a unique "R&D-driven trade" model. Many fabric companies in the area possess strong capabilities in new product development. The Shishi Fabric Association plays a key role in guiding and leading member companies to participate in exhibitions, with strong organizational skills and cohesion, enabling them to recommend high-quality and innovative fabric products.
Of course, all recommended products will still undergo strict evaluation according to established standards and procedures to ensure quality and competitiveness. Xiao Wang, from the National Textile Product Development Center, emphasized that this partnership with the Shishi Fabric Association is a strategic move to enhance the visibility and market presence of Shishi's textile industry.
