We're now well past the midway point of Made for Kids Month, and it's been fantastic to see so many adorable creations from the Oliver + S community popping up in the Made for Kids Month Flickr group. There have been some truly delightful projects shared, and here are just a few highlights:
Lightning McStitch has been particularly active, sharing not one but two amazing sets. The first features the Field Trip Cargo Pants paired with a Raglan T-shirt and topped off with the Art Museum Vest. It’s such a fun and practical combination that any kid would love.

Then again, by Lightning McStitch, we saw another charming ensemble: the Music Box Jumper, a fabric-covered headband, and a felt bow. The attention to detail really shines through in these outfits, making them perfect for both playtime and special occasions.

Katy joined in with her contribution of the Jump Rope Dress. This dress is classic yet playful, and it looks like it would be a hit at any summer gathering or backyard adventure.

Elizabeth also got creative with the Hopscotch Dress. It’s a sweet and simple design that captures the imagination, perfect for little ones who love outdoor games and imaginative play.

Janice Harris rounded out our showcase with another version of the Jump Rope Dress. Her take on the pattern adds a unique twist with fabric choices that bring extra personality to the piece.

As we approach the final days of June, we want to encourage everyone to keep inspiring kids to wear their handmade treasures proudly. Whether it’s a dress, a jumper, or a pair of pants, each handmade item tells its own story and helps make every day feel special.
Let’s keep the momentum going strong until the very last stitch of Made for Kids Month. Happy sewing, and don’t forget to share your creations with the rest of us!

Woven bonded lining is a kind of lining coated with hot melt adhesive, which is one of the auxiliary materials often used in fabric production. The bonded interlining is attached to the back of the fabric after heating and pressing. When the fabric needs to express clarity and thickness, it can be reflected by adding the bonded interlining, or when the fabric is too soft and slippery to operate, adding the bonded interlining can make the fabric flexible. Woven adhesive interlining is often used in the main body or important position of the work, and also has soft and hard points, which need to be selected as appropriate.
With woven interlining, the equipment usually used is the key rod loom and the water jet loom, and the polyester is woven into the base cloth.
The bottom cloth of the woven interlining is woven or knitted, and the knitted interlining is also called: knitted park, knitted fabric is generally divided into two kinds, two-sided knitted interlining, four-sided knitted interlining, and the width of the interlining is usually 110cm and 150cm.
