Adidas authorized the three major agents to promote outdoor products

It has been reported that Adidas, the global sporting goods giant, is set to launch its newly developed outdoor product line in the U.S. market. The collection includes a wide range of items such as footwear, apparel, and accessories, with the 2009 TERREX cross-country shoes making their debut in Europe before being introduced to the American audience. To support this expansion, Adidas has strategically selected three key regional agents to help distribute and promote its outdoor products across the United States.

The first agent, BPAssociates, will handle the Midwest region, covering nine states. Their team includes five representatives—Bill Kaplan, Padden, Adam Argetsinger, Daniel Moser, and Emily Rach—as well as Jim Daley, who will manage the local operations. In the Rocky Mountains, Helaman Group, led by Jon Van Noy, will be responsible for four states. Although Van Noy may not have direct experience in the outdoor industry, he brings valuable background in the sporting goods sector. Larry Harrison, Adidas Outdoor Sales Director, commented, “Jon’s business expertise is a great asset, and we’re excited to see him bring his knowledge into the outdoor space.”

Meanwhile, the Frontier Group Sales will oversee the outdoor product distribution in the Northwest region, covering five states. One of their executives, John Morioka, emphasized the importance of making Adidas’ outdoor brand more visible to consumers, stating, “It’s crucial for Adidas’ outdoor movement to gain quick recognition among the public.”

In addition, the final retailers interested in carrying the new line will have the opportunity to view the products at the adidas Outdoor Supplies Retailers Exhibition, which is scheduled to take place in Yancheng in January 2011. This event is expected to attract a wide range of buyers and provide an important platform for Adidas to connect with potential partners in the U.S. market.
