The purpose of strong acid soaking and rinsing is to remove iron and organic pollutants from jadeite, thereby increasing the transparency of jadeite and making the green of jadeite more beautiful without the interference of these dirty colors. However, as a result of pickling, some substances in the jadeite are dissolved in the acid, causing the internal structure to become so tight in Hong Kong. Therefore, it is necessary to use an inorganic substance such as an epoxy resin for filling, so that the pickled jadeite is reinforced.

B goods jadeite usually has better transparency, which makes the jadeite more crystal clear, watery, and the color is also improved, it seems to be a higher-grade jade. However, the internal structure of the jadeite is corroded and destroyed, and its durability is weakened. In addition, the organic materials such as epoxy resin filled are low in hardness and are prone to wear, so that the surface of such jewelry is often subject to Wear and fluff, become less smooth, darken the gloss; also, the filled organic matter will gradually age, deteriorate, and even turn yellow over time, thus making the color of the jadeite appear in a subtle way. Variety. Furthermore, it has also been found that its organic filling is relatively third to detergents and susceptible to attack by detergents, so it is less suitable for frequent contact with detergents. For these reasons, although the B-car jade does not have the role of landscaping, it does not have long-term value for collecting investment. This determines that its price is a lot worse than A.

Compared with the A goods, the B goods jade often has the following characteristics that can be identified: 1. The gloss is weak. 2. On the refractometer, the refractive index reading is often lower. 3. The density is low (due to the low density of the filler). 4. Under ultraviolet light, it often shows blue-white fluorescence. 5. Tap it gently, often find that its sound is not so crisp, but rather dumb (due to the internal multi-marked crack). 6. The surface is rough, the blisters are numerous, and the irregular, often dendritic grooves, or "orange skin-like structure", which are often left by acid. 7. Amplification inspection under transmitted light shows that some grains are dissolved. 8. The interior is usually relatively clean, rare brown or gray-black film and silk produced by iron oxide or organic contamination. 9. Infrared absorption spectroscopy is often an effective means of identifying the presence or absence of organic fillings. Most of the B-carved jade filled with organic matter has a strong absorption valley at the wavenumber of 2800-3200CM, but it is difficult to distinguish if it is filled with inorganic matter. 10. Fire test, organic fillings are afraid of high temperature, generally higher than 100C, will change color, higher than 300C, will become brown, black, carbonized. But this is a kind of damage test, which is generally not suitable.

It should be pointed out that the above 10 aspects are not absolute. In many cases, there is such a semi-true three-layer jade that resembles high-quality jade. This kind of bonded jade is because of the top and the bottom are all true jade, and the emerald color is from the inside, and the destiny is often difficult to find because of the inlaid relationship, so it is very deceptive. Most of the general detection methods are also difficult to work. However, if an infrared spectrometer is used, it can be measured that it also has an absorption valley caused by an organic substance like B. If you use a spectroscope, there is no normal green jade line. Obviously, these methods are difficult for ordinary collectors to collect, so if there is doubt, it is best to ask a special testing agency for identification.
